Kellie saw a unique way of doing a floor covering on Pinterest. It involved using brown paper. You would crumble it up and then lay it out flat again. You mix half water and half white glue and then dip the paper in that and lay it on the floor as flat as possible. You could then stain the crinkles in the paper to bring out the texture and make it look even better. Then you would lay down about 3 coats of polyurethane over it to protect the paper and make a durable floor coat. In the kitchen we chose to use cookbook pages instead of crinkled brown paper.
